Equal access for a new community asset

Line and Grade has been instrumental in the development of over 100 miles of trails, a three-span pedestrian bridge, and numerous boardwalks along circulatory trails throughout Biscuit Run Park, a 1,200-acre natural space in Albemarle County.

From designing primary access points and trailheads to constructing infrastructure in environmentally sensitive areas, we provided expert solutions that prioritized accessibility, sustainability, and long-term durability.

With a deep understanding of terrain challenges, regulatory requirements, and sustainable design principles, we ensured that every element is thoughtfully planned and executed. Our work encompassed all aspects of design, permitting, and construction oversight, collaborating closely with county officials and stakeholders to navigate complexities while preserving the park’s natural integrity.

Through meticulous planning and innovative engineering, we delivered resilient, environmentally conscious infrastructure that enhances visitor experience, fosters outdoor recreation, and creates lasting, accessible connections throughout the park.
